Partial Information Decomposition of Electronic Observables Along Reaction Pathways - Kyunghoon Han

정보이론을 활용하여 화학 반응을 분석하는 방법을 소개합니다. 특히 Partial Information Decomposition(PID) 프레임워크를 통해 반응 경로에서 원자 중심의 전자 전하 변화가 반응 진행 정보를 어떻게 담고 있는지를 정량적으로 분석합니다. SN2 치환 반응을 사례로 대칭 및 비대칭 반응에서 결합 형성과 해리 과정이 서로 다른 정보 구조를 나타냄을 설명합니다.
This session introduces an information-theoretic framework for analyzing chemical reactions. Utilizing Partial Information Decomposition (PID), the study quantifies how electronic charge fluctuations encode reaction progress. Through the lens of SN2 reactions, it demonstrates how symmetric and asymmetric pathways manifest distinct informational structures during bond formation and cleavage.

유아의 또래 협력과 수학 문제 해결 - 이호연
Peer Collaboration and Mathematical Problem Solving in Early Childhood - Hoyeon Lee

협력은 종종 성공적인 학습 방식으로 소개되지만, 미취학 아동의 협력과 그 인지 과정에 대해서는 상대적으로 덜 조망되었습니다. 본 연구는 유아가 수학적 복잡한 문제를 혼자 풀 때와 또래와 함께 풀 때 수학 문제 해결의 정답률 및 탐색, 추론, 점검과 같은 인지 과정의 조직이 어떻게 달라지는지를 살펴봅니다.

Although collaboration has long been regarded as an important context for learning, relatively little is known about the cognitive processes it involves in early childhood. This study investigates differences in mathematical problem-solving accuracy and in cognitive mechanisms such as exploration, reasoning, and monitoring between individual and peer-collaborative settings among preschool children.
